Day Cream?
Now that I am starting to get a little bit older, I am starting to think about some of the best day creams. I want to make sure that I do not look older than I really am and would like to actually look a few years younger than I really am. Right now, people are like oh wow, I thought you were 7 years younger than you are. That makes me feel really good right now and I hope that I can keep it that way.

Can't get my 3 year old to bed!
I really wish that I could figure out a way to get my 3 year old to bed and still get done what I need to get done at night. If I try to get him to bed, it is a constant fight and I don't get anything else done i.e. homework, house work, work for pay etc...So, as I write this, my 3 year old is still up. He is watching TV and drawing and waiting for daddy to get home in the next couple of minutes. ugh.

Career choice
My husband and I have really been talking lately about our careers. We are both in agreement that I have chosen the right one for our family when the boys are all in school. I want to have some job security (which is really hard to find these days) and I also want to make pretty good money as well. I really feel that nursing is my calling and have felt that way for probably about 20 years or so. I am just glad that I am finally back in school and working my way towards that goal.

The weather
The weather in our area has been so weird. On January 13, it was 17 degrees for the low. For the last couple of days it has been upper 60s and lower 70s (which is what I like). On Thursday, the rain was so bad, that when I left my Math class, when I was trying to make it to the car, my shoes got stuck in the mud and I had to run with my shoes off to the car. I got soaked to the bone! All of my clothes were wet. I had a windbreaker jacket on which I had put my book bag and purse under so they wouldn't get as wet. It helped some. I went and picked up my son from school as soon as I got back into town because I didn't want to go back into the rain and get wet again and because there was a tornado warning for our area and he was in a portable building. A tornado hit about 20 miles away and messed up some houses and overturned 18 wheelers so I just feel lucky that we are all safe.
To the Beach?
My brother is probably going to be in Panama City Florida for his training after boot camp. I have already started looking for some good deals on hotels in panama city beach. I know that it is a nice area. It is actually a place where a lot of the local college kids go for spring break around here. I would love to take the kids to see their uncle and maybe go to the beach while we are there. I really think that would be a lot of fun for the whole family.

Dental
So, my oldest son Ethan went to the Dentist and had no cavities at all! I was very surprised especially since he does eat sooo many sweet things. Hopefully he genetically is predisposed to not having them (one can hope right?) Anyway, this Monday my hubby and I both have our first appointment at our new dentist with our new dental insurance. I hope it goes well. I know we both are going to get referrals to an oral surgeon for our wisdom teeth. Oh the joy right? Anyway, I can't wait to get them out.
Want to go to the Carolinas!
I really want to hit Disney this year. My hubby is from North Carolina and has never been there before. I am sure that my boys would love it too. One place that I used to go when I was a little girl is the Carolinas. I am thinking about looking into some nice Outer Banks rentals. I am sure the boys would love that as well. I just have to talk my hubby into it since he is actually from up that way and move to Florida to be near his dad and to get away from the cold!

Done with my homework!!!
Well, I finally got done with my Algebra homework that is due tomorrow night. Having small boys though, you never know if you will have it done in time if you wait until the last minute. I hate the added stress when I am running behind on something like that. I actually like to try to get it done as soon as I receive the assignment, but of course my sweeties usually will not allow that:)

I love my netbook!
A lot of people don't even think about netbooks when they think about getting a new computer. I have one and I LOVE it! My husband got me a new flat panel screen and I hooked it up to that so that I can have a large screen when I want it, but I can also go mobile when I want as well:) That is a great bonus for a mom of 3 boys that are always on the go. So, if you are like me and usually like a larger screen, save some money and space and get a netbook!

Happy New Year!!!
Well, it is less than 2 hours away till the new year! I really hope that 2010 is better than 2009 has been for us. I can't say that 2009 was terrible, aside from financial and political issues it was pretty good. We are all very healthy, alive and still have a car and a roof over our heads, so I guess I should not complain too much:) I am hoping that 2010 will be the start of my nursing classes too.
Here is wishing everyone a great 2010!

Auto Insurance
One great way to cut costs from your budget is to make sure that you have the right car insurance to fit your needs. If you are having a hard time paying your bill, you might want to make sure that your deductible is high so that your bill will be lower. Just make sure that your insurance does not laps, because that can also be very costly, especially if you are in an accident.

Legos!
So, my boys got 15 lbs of Legos for Christmas. Now, we are dealing with the issue of making sure that they are all picked up and put away so that they don't get scattered about the house and lost and so we don't step on them with our bear feet or the dog doesn't decide to eat them. I tell ya, it has really been a struggle. I sometimes wish that Santa wouldn't have brought them lol.
Roadside Assistance
Our car is starting to get a little older. We bought it new almost 5 years ago and it has over 70,000 miles on it. With three little kids, I really am dreading the first time that it breaks down on me and leaves me stranded. I have been stranded by other aging cars in the past but not with my 3 boys with me. Calling a tow company can be REALLY expensive around here because we live so far out. I have been talking to my husband about maybe getting roadside assistance. I have heard some about www.goodsamers.com. I am going to look into them a little bit more.

Starting a business?
With the crazy economy, if you are thinking about starting a new business, it would probably be a great idea to talk with a good business plan consultant. There are so many things that go into a business that a normal person just does not even think about. They are trained to think about the what if of a lot of different scenarios so you don't have to worry as much.

Kids!

So, my kids were being such angels all day long. They have been playing with their new Christmas presents and basically keeping themselves pretty much occupied. They only wanted me if they wanted something to drink or eat (at least the two older ones:) It is now 11:40 PM and they are STILL UP! Now they are starting to fight (especially since I am telling them to put the 15 pounds of Legos that they got from Santa against the wall so that they don't take up the entire room.) Anyway, I guess it if finally time for bed.
