What do I want?
My husband asked me what I would like to have for Christmas this year. I told him that I might like one of those ipods that it seems like everyone has. I would love to have a bunch of my own music. Usually, we listen to stuff that my husband likes, and now that the boys are getting older, stuff that they are liking too. It would be nice to be able to take my own collection of songs wherever I go though.

Nightly Rituals
So, it is after 10:30 at night. I have been TRYING to get my 3 year old to bed for over 2 hours now. He just keeps coming up with more excuses to stay up. Tonight, I have heard and seen it all. First it was "I need to go potty", then it was "I need water", then "Baby wants Mommy (talking about his little brother.) Then it is "I need to go potty" (yes again...) then it is him coming out to through his brother's Caprison package away (thanks for being so helpful (I bet he helped drink it too, thus the crying from the baby:/ Now my poor husband is in their trying to get him to lay down...again...I can't wait till he is out of the terrible two stage!
Life's a beach
So, now that I know my career path, I have started thinking about all of the things that I want to do with the money that we will be able to save. I want to buy a time share on the beach. But of course, if we do that, I will have to get some really nice new Samsonite luggage to bring my nice new clothes along with me! I am sure that you can see my excitement about finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

Looking forward to it!
So, I took my TABE today and got a high enough score where I can apply to school for my LPN. I am soooo excited! Now, I just have to figure out a way to get another vehicle and have someone watch my kids 3 afternoons a week when there is a 2 hour space where my husband will be at work and I will be on my way home from school. Fun! But other than that, I am good to go. I will still further my education farther later on when my kids are a little bit older. But right now as I write this, my youngest son is crying for no apparent reason and I know that the RN program is REALLY tough and I will not be able to make it 2 years straight with not being able to study much.

Finally going shopping!
My husband is going to town with me tomorrow when I take my son to the Doctor. He is going to drop us off and go look for some holiday gifts while he waits for us. This time last year, I had already finished my Christmas shopping for the boys, but this year being in school and just staying to busy I really have not had the time to get as much done as I had planned by this time. I hope that my husband remembers to take the list that my 5 year old made for us:)

Off to the Doc
So tomorrow morning after dropping my oldest son off at school, I have to take my middle son to the Dr. He has been coughing really bad since last night and threw up tonight after complaining of an upset stomach. His temperature was also about 100 under his arm:/ I am really hoping that it is not swine flu. All of my boys have already had the shot for seasonal flu so probably is not that. Oh the joys of parenthood!

Would love to
One dream of mine has been to start a small store with some of my home made children's boutique items. I already have them online, but would love to be able to have a brick and mortar store as well. I would love to have one of those nice POS systems too. I am sure it would really make running a business a lot easier. It would be nice for the kids to be able to come to the store after school and just chill out a bit while I am able to work and make some much needed cash as well.

The sickies!
Well, it looks like my kids all have the sickies. Everyone is coughing and sneezing. I guess it is just that time of year again. I really dread it when my oldest starts school because I know that it will be more germs home. When I go to school myself, I always make it a point to stop by one of those machines that dispenses the antibacterial hand gel to try to minimize the amount of germs that I bring home at least.
I would love to hear what others do to try to minimize their exposure.

Talking about a cruise
My husband and I have been talking about taking a short cruise for our 10th wedding anniversary next August. But, having 3 young sons, I told him that I thought that it would probably be wise to get some good travel insurance just in case someone gets sick and we can't go. That was when he brought up the fact that a company could go out of business too before we actually leave on our cruise because of how the economy is. That just make my argument stronger I think.
