What a day!

So, today my hubby went for his preop appointment for his gall bladder. He is getting it out and it will be a lot sooner than I thought. He will be going in at 6am next Thursday. Thank goodness they are going to do it laproscopically. That is as long as it isn't actually inflamed. In that case, they will have to change to open surgery. We are so glad that we changed from our PPO to an HMO, we don't even have a deductible or copay to pay for the surgery! It is going to be 100% free. That sure beats our old PPO where we had a $500 deductible and a $500 copay PLUS 20%. You just can't beat that. He is going to be off of work for about 3 weeks and not be able to lift more thant 10lbs which sort of sucks because our infant weighs more than that. I am just glad that he has about 8 months of sick leave available to him. It gives an added since of stability. I sure hope that this is what has been causing all of his problems, it sure will make our lives a lot more enjoyable not having to cancel things because he has been up all night sick.
